Sept. 15, 2011: Video Shoots and Booking November BC/ ALBERTA Tour!
Hope you all are well! I have been working hard booking dates for this November with my backing band throughout BC and Alberta along with surf/alt country band PILGRIM. So, I hope to be seeing you soon! If you have any venue or town requests feel free to send them my way! Also, last week we piled into my good friends 1969 Lincoln Continental and shot a bunch of footage for my upcoming video for "Marching to the Western Sun". Produced and directed by Beau Evans! Hope to get it out there by around Christmas! Stay tuned for more tour dates!! Aug. 23, 2011: Today Russ Rankin, of legendary punk bands Good Riddance, and Only Crime, and I will be beginning a week of solo shows in Alberta! It all kicks off tonight at Wild Bill's in Banff! 8:30pm, $5. Hope to see lots of familiar faces at the shows! This will be a rare opportunity to see Russ performing his solo material! I am very excited to be a part of the tour! See dates above, and see you soon! As a side note, I am currently booking a Western Canadian Tour with my new band mates for November....Stay tuned for dates. July 28, 2011: Canmore Folk Fest is here! I was lucky enough to slide in on the locals stage for the fest this weekend on Saturday night at the Miner's Union Hall at 9 pm! No festival pass required! $5 cover at the door! And, I will be jioned by some friends on stand up bass, drums, and organ/accordian! This is gonna be a good one! Hope to see you there! June 1, 2011: June is a huge month for shows! I am lucky enough to have the chance to play with two of my favorite bands/musicians! June 4th I will be opening for LIVING WITH LIONS in Canmore at Pizza Construction, $10, 18+, 9PM, advance tix at Pizza Co...and......CHUCK RAGAN is coming to town on June 24th!! Chuck and myself will be playing at Communitea Cafe, $15 , Advance tix and info will soon be available at www.thecommunitea.com!!!! This is gonna be a good summer! Stay tuned!
